KTIS BioEthanol (KTBE),is a subsidiary of KTIS group, was established in 2004 with the aim to reinforce the Thai government’s policy of utilizing both agricultural products and by-products in the bio-energy or ethanol production to substitute for imported octane substance (MTBE) blended in gasoline. The production capacity is 230,000 liters of ethanol per day, using molasses by-product as the raw material from Kaset Thai sugar mill.
